Memorial Day Parade & Pie Sale
Cross Plains Legion
Join us for the annual Cross Plains Memorial Day Parade & Pie Sale Stingray swimmers and coaches are invited to march in the Cross Plains Memorial Day parade! The Stingray Cookie & Pie Sale will be taking place after the Memorial Day ceremony. As a part of the Memorial Day activities sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce at the American Legion, the Stingrays will host our annual Pie Sale where we sell cookies and pies donated by swim team families, along with Culvers frozen custard. Food and beverage sales begin immediately following the parade and memorial ceremony. The Stingray Memorial Day Pie/Cookie sale is our LARGEST fundraiser of the season! All Stingray families are required to donate 2 homemade pies or 3 dozen cookies OR pay the $40 buyout fee. Please remember, the buyout fee DOES NOT include the much-needed donation of your time to volunteer to work shifts! Please note that there is no refrigeration available, so please do not make items that require chilling. • Please use disposable pans as this helps us to be able to sell WHOLE pies as well as clean up. • If the pan is not disposable, please label the pan with your name and phone number so it finds its way back to you. Please label your pie/cookies:
Deliver your pies/cookies to the Stingrays tent at the Legion between 9:30 - 11:30am on Monday, May 25th. • Please check in with a volunteer at drop-off to have your name checked off the drop off list. Volunteers are needed for this event! If you have any questions regarding the cookies & pie sale, please feel free to contact [email protected]. Go Sting! |
